I've had identical problem that started about 4 months ago, prior to that no problem using same iPad &search engine.  Called Q, they said never had another complaint!  They told me to switch search engine, I did but nothing.  I clear my searches a few times a day so that's not the problem.  I go directly to QVC.com not app cause I've had problem with app & privacy. I can get sizing pop up if I go through maneuvers to open in background but should NOT have to do that.   Glad to hear I'm not the only one & obviously Q has had complaints!
