I have never had a return credit within seven days and I use QVC easy returns always.  I just received credit for something I returned in early September.  I get return credit within 5 days from HSN.

are you sure you are using the easy returns process and emailing them regarding your returns? it usually doesnt even take 7 days to get my refund. it is often within 2 -3 days. sometimes i have not even take the item back to the post office yet and the refund is in my account.


Are you saying that you need to email them when you return something and that's called easy return?

@hayeve  You should have a tracking number of the item you returned.  Check tracking to see if QVC has received your returned item.  If tracking states they have, email QVC.  Let them know they have the item, and ask them to process your return.

 

I have done that once and received my return that day.  They could see in their system that the tracking number says it was indeed received.  I got my return processed almost immediately.  

 

But if tracking is still undetermined in the route of the postal service, or wherever, there'e not much QVC can do.

 

I have never dealt with an uncooperative QVC customer service representative.  

 

Also, QVC does not take money out of your bank account before shipping.  Your bank puts a hold on that money -- it's the bank's policy that's doing that.  The actual transfer of funds does not happen until it's shipped.

@depglass   If folks have limited spending funds on stuff other than basics like food and bills to keep themselves, maybe they need to rethink shopping here. And it's not only here but there too wherever there may be.

 

Things here are expensive and prices keep going up instead of helping ot shoppers by lowering them to make stuff more accessible. Shipping charges here and on the other tv channels are also going up. ShopHQ is pricing itself out of the market with their s/h. This week alone I saw jewelry pieces going for $12.00+ to get a necklace home. Jewelry weighs almost nothing to ship it's so light weight. What the heck shophq??????

 

Then there's the return costs. If you buy and you don't like it, didn't turn out to be what you thought it would be, the fashions don't really fit the fit guide and you guessed but guessed wrong, OR they sent you the wrong size, the wrong color, an item you didn't even order, or you got someone else's order, or it was broken, or there were pieces and parts missing, well then we're stuck paying MORE to return whatever.

 

Trials and tribulations of online shopping has taken us over. Again, if you really don't have the funds to have your money tied up in waiting for it and then end up needing to return it. STOP buying it.

@sunshine45 You are correct. I returned 2 items that I wanted in different sizes and emailed them and they were sorry buy they had already refunded my money 3 days after I returned and I was ok with that. I guess when the post office processes they automatically see it at Q maybe. And I was not charged return fee

Use Easy Pay so you're not waiting on a large refund if you need to return.  You can always go in a pay it off early once you've decided to keep the product.

@San Antonio Gal   Since QVC had that devastating warehouse fire, I Easy Pay everything (except food).  Exactly as you said:

 

  • If I need to return something, I'm only out $10 - $20 as I wait for them to process the return.
  • For everything else I keep, I go into my account and pay the balance the day it's delivered.

So easy, so simple.  I don't carry a balance on my Q card, and I'm not anxious about a return. 

 

The only time I had to email about a return was when it took 10 weeks and no update.  I thought it was lost.  But I emailed the tracking #, they identified they had it, and I got my refund immediately.

that is the exact reason i use easy pay.

you are not out a lot of money all at once if you are returning an item.

it works well for me that way.

i COULD pay the entire cost when i buy  it, but why do that when i can wait, see if i like it, and THEN pay for it in full?
