Yesterday, I ordered 2 pairs of Denim and Co jeans. The order went through fine. They were in stock. Today, my order status says they are on ''backorder'' - yet, when I check the same pants , as if to order them again, it ''still'' stays they are ''in stock''. So what does ''backorder'' mean? Is QVC trying to sell something that they really don't have?

It means they have a bad computer system and no clue what they have in inventory. Or they got in a defective shipment and haven't removed that from inventory yet. Or they THINK they will get some soon and can blame it on shipping problems.

I came to the boards to ask the same thing. I placed an order on Friday and as of last night it was shill showing In process. Today it is Backordered but still showing as n stock on the item page. UGH I just need a new Umbrella already.

Joining in with your voices...that has hapened to me with Denim & Co. shirts and Cheryl's Cookies. It does not make me a happy customer.

This has happened to me with other things. You'll most likely get your order.
Check this out....our water bill never showed up. Called them and they acted like, so what? UNREAL.
Next day I called and said, no yelled...EMAIL ME MY BILL!!! They said, sure. Got it that way and paid it.
No, I don't pay bills on line. Don't want to.
This world is crazy and now I understand why, when I wanted to leave, my boss wanted to get down and beg me to stay. I go the extra mile and NO ONE has to baby sit me to do my job 100% because I'm a perfectionist and I don't care how much I'm being paid.

I also saw Josie Maran selling her sugar scrub lip duo. I ordered mine a month ago. Still on waitlist. There they were selling it on TV and rep tells me they are not available...

Add me to the Backorder Purgatory list. I ordered a pair of Earth Origins shoes on February 6. It went into "preparing your order" status for a couple of days then went to Backorder. The item page shows that my color and size are indeed in stock. It has been in and out of backorder status 4 times since Monday. it is currently in process with a delivery date of 2/16., which is 2 days ago. I would attempt to cancel, but it's fun watching the status change back and forth. They are spring shoes so I'm not really in a hurry to get them. I'll let everyone know if the shoes ever do ship.

Update on my last post: my shoes were "in process" for 2 days; now they are backordered for the FIFTH time this week. I called customer service the first time they went to backorder and emailed the Social team on Wednesday. They were less than useless. Get it together, Q.

Just had my latest sweater from Isaac go from "In process" to "Backorder"...
It is lightweight and a berry color I wanted for Spring, so I'll wait and see if it ships...
I have never had so many issues with my orders as I have in the last 2 1/2 months.
Thank goodness for the Social team....they have helped me out each time...
