Re: BEST Customer Service Ever

[ Edited ]

I haven't had a problem with customer service at QVC. In fact, they and the social team have gone above and beyond for me!

I had one incident with HSN.
I returned an " Origami Large Rack with pouch." It was a separate purchase to enhance the Origami, description is deceiving.

They returned it to me, with a very stern note saying where is the Origami, and that they were not refunding me the money. It was really a very accusatory letter. I was so offended.

They were not familiar with their own merchandise, and they thought that I was trying to pull a fast one.

They must have noted the account because

when I called to explain, CS was insisting that I had to send the entire Origami contraption back.

I further explained in detail that I wasn't dissatisfied with the rack and that was a different purchase, with a different order number.

The description of that add on made it sound like it too was a rack...but at 19.99? someone should have picked it off just on the low pricing that it wasn't a rack.

I talked to 3 reps and they all said the same thing...I must send the entire rack back to get refunded.😝  They all we're so sure, because of the note posted to my account, that I was trying to pull a swindle.

I hung up in frustration, returned the pouch again along with a nasty note and a Supervisor or someone called me very apologetically. They put an extra 20 bucks in my account for the inconvenience. I hurried up and spent it so that there'd be no other controversies. LOL

They also said they would be renaming the item.
They didn't. LOL

Maybe you think it is fun to mock another poster who has had problems with an item. It is sad what some posters think is acceptable. Maybe you never had a problem but I have read where other customers have. I think it is time for you to rethink your post. It doesn't take much effort to be kind.

Butting in- This didn't read as mocking or offensive to me. I took it as the poster offering a counter perspective.

Why was that necessary to give a defense to the other postt?? It was unnecessary and making that poster feel less than because she had a problem.  It was posted right above the other topic Worst Customer Service.

Re: BEST Customer Service Ever

@KBEANS - I also had a horrible experience with HSN (their mistake) that was so bad and took so long to resolve that I ended up sending a registered letter to Mindy Grossman (CEO at the time).  Never got a single response from her or her staff, not even an acknowledgement, but I eventually got the issue resolved.

I didn't shop with HSN again for many, many years and to this day I only very occasionally shop with them.

(Same kind of thing - they tried to say something I sent back the day after I received it was out of time to return - although it got to them within days.  Back and forth this package went!  I always keep my tracking information!  I don't know what was wrong with their system but even they should've known the black boots I returned were not the chestnut boots I ordered!)

Had to laugh two months on when a CS rep told me that the boots I actually ordered were now in stock and did I still want them?  NO!!!

In my experiences QVC customer service has always been wonderful to me, whether by phone or e-mail.   HSN it depends on the day.  I don't like having to deal with them.

Absolutely true. There was no mocking of anyone at all. What's unacceptable, imo, is accusing others of being unkind when that's exactly what was done by the accuser. Definitely time to rethink your words and maybe read through a second time if need be.
