Answer the customer questions!!!

it is so frustrating to be considering an item, go to the questions by other customers, and find it was asked six months ago, with no answers. In fact no answers for any of the questions weeks and months later.

QVC you need to ask, better yet REQUIRE your suppliers to monitor their products for questions from consumers. Especially if it is a TSV, I am always stunned that there is no attempt to answer even the most basic questions.  QVC lost two sales this a.m. because of this.  (Can this item be washed, can the inner soles be removed?)

This is a cost that QVC is picking up because those same customers are having to call customer service to ask these questions.

I totally agree. Why have the feature if you don't use it. They have lost my purchases for the exact reason. QVC doesn't realize that they are not the only game in town.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Yes, I too have refrained from ordering when there are no answers to the questions posted.

I could be wrong but those questions are for customers to answer not QVC.  QVC can not control if any customers answer your questions or not.

@Bhvbum if you note carefully, the answers are provided by **customers** not by QVC. I've often read questions and answers on various items and that's the setup. So don't blame Q if **customers** are not responding, OK?

Re: Answer the customer questions!!!

I have noticed too that a lot of  times people are asking questions about information already included in the product description.

And lately no customers are responding because you are asked to change your nickname to do so. Also to write a review. Silly and annoyingly unnecessary when you are already logged in.

I always thought it was for both customers & vendors to answer.  Customers can give their personal expereince with the item but it's the vendor who one would think wants to sell their product and should answer basic questions.

Re: Answer the customer questions!!!

I have seen quite a few questions answered by a vendor representative so I doubt that answering is restricted to customers only. I agree that vendors should monitor questions about their products often and answer them!

@candyagain

On another thread a while ago, someone posted you do NOT need to change your nickname.

Just type in your current one.  They were right.

I do it all the time.
