I've been using Andrew Lessman's cholestacare and Choconuv for some time without my numbers coming down. I eat healthy, I'm a little below weight, exercise daily and get plenty of rest. Nothing seems to budge my numbers. My doctor is wanting me to try red yeast rice.. I cannot get Andrew Lessman customer service to let me know if there's already red yeast rice in this combination that he has for cholesterol. I don't want to take additional red yeast rice if it's already in this mixture. I understand it's a secret combination but how can I make an informed decision without this information?

Years ago, a friend of mine was facing drugs for cholesterol, and told his MD he'd try diet modification first.
I've forgotten the numbers now, but he accomplished a good drop in his numbers by eating oatmeal for breakfast for 45 days. I don't recall anything else, but doing that one thing helped. It could be a good thing to add to your routine, possibly. Just adding my two cents here.

@MISS MOOSE MANOR Can you look on the ingredient label and see if red yeast rice is listed?

My cholesterol numbers have crept up since the pandemic- it's still an okay #, just not as low as I prefer. I'm eating 'right' but haven't been doing the cardio I was doing a couple times a week earlier in the year. Exercise (along with diet) makes the difference with me more than Choconuvo.... although I Choconuvo !!

Since red yeast rice is marketed as a supplement, the problem is a lack of information/standardization. If they let us have the details, then it would have to be regulated as a drug.
Were you given a brand? Most doctors won't go here.
