Call the manufacturer & ask them. You will need to have the items serial and/or model #.
They will tell you if your issue is covered under their 1 yr warranty.

Yes. Also, the warranty paperwork will list the issues that are NOT covered. You may need a magnifying glass or a microscope to read the small print.
