As of last night, I was still placing orders through the old checkout process, but this afternoon, I find myself a member of the "new checkout experience" team.
I can now add my voice to the group who thinks this is a far less convenient approach; if I wanted to use Speed Buy instead of Checkout, I would. With the new system, even if I click Checkout, rather than logically proceeding through options for the address, shipping speed, and payment areas as I complete my order, I have to click on each individual part of the "final order" page to change all of those elements, returning to the page time after time. Then I have to really examine the page to make sure every choice was properly applied and hasn't returned to a preset default.
To add insult to injury, like others, all of my recent Saved for Later items disappeared from my cart and were replaced by items I saved many months ago and have since either purchased or removed. And the item I added to my cart while exploring the new system passed its one-hour expiration timeframe and disappeared completely rather than being automatically Saved for Later, so I got to start all over again. (And with the Wish List basically serving as a useless list of pictures nowadays, the cart has been the best solution for keeping a set of things to ponder purchasing.)
All in all, I am not impressed. Once again, QVC has traded extra white space and new fonts for an inferior user experience. There are already so many broken processes and difficulties in navigating the QVC website—why complicate things further?!
(I wish this venting would do more than make me feel better for two minutes. But I'll take that for now, I guess.)

@zuni, With all the website changes it might be that your settings were inadvertently modified.
In the shopping area of the website, look under "My Account," "Communication Preferences," "Email & Mobile Preferences." If everything is set the way you want, but no email messages are coming through, some posters have found that unchecking the selections, then waiting a few days, then going back in and making new settings will trigger the system to start sending email.
If that doesn't work, try an email message to the moderators at QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com. Fingers crossed that you'll find a solution one way or the other!😊

This new system is OUTRAGEOUS AND A TOTAL INCONVENIENCE TO USE. IF YOU THINK THIS IS EASIER TO USE THEN YOU MUST BE ONE OF THE TECHY PEOPLE WHO JUST SIT IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER.
PUT THE CART, SAVED ITEMS AND CHECKOUT BACK THE WAY IT WAS.!!!!!!!!
I HAD TO SIGN INTO MY CART TWICE, FIRST SIGN IN WAS FOR MY USERNAME THEN ON THE NEXT PAGE CAME MY PASSWORD AND AGAIN I HAD TO CLICK "SIGN IN".
I HAD JUST PUT SOME ITEMS IN MY CART AND THEY DISAPPEARED, THEY AREN'T EVEN IN THE "SAVED ITEMS" SECTION. THE ITEMS THAT ARE SAVED ARE THINGS THAT "MAYBE, AND I MEAN MAYBE" CAME FROM MY WISH LIST BUT I KNOW THERE ARE SEVERAL I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. WHERE ARE MY READ SAVED ITEMS???????????????????
EVERY TIME YOU LITTLE TECHY KIDS MESS WITH THE WEBSITE IT'S A NIGHTMARE BUT THIS TIME YOU HAVE OUTDONE YOURSELVES AS THIS IS THE WORST NIGHTMARE OF ALL. YOU KIDS NEED TO FIND SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE TO DO AND LEAVE THE AREAS THAT THE CUSTOMERS WORK WITH ALONE!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE SLOWED DOWN MY SHOPPING WITH QVC OVER THE PAST MONTH BECAUSE OF BEING UNHAPPY WITH HOW THINGS HAVE BEEN RUN AND THIS IS THE LAST NAIL IN THE COFFIN.....I CAN'T TAKE IT!!!!! YOU NEVER LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMERS!!!

@ Montana, The thread appears in duplicate because the OP of the thread -- @QVC -- used the "Float this Topic" to pin the thread to the top of the Customer Care forum. It displays as 2 threads, but really is only one. In my opinion it's less than elegant programming code, but unfortunately that's how the website rolls.🙃

One of these duplicate threads is now permanently at the top of my threads. I don’t want this. How do I get rid of it?
And I don’t understand how someone else’s preference to float a topic should affect my preferences.

me neither I've turned it in couple of times don't seem to bother the mods
I quit paying attention to it, just checked it this time to see if anybody else
had turned in "duplicate thread".

How long does the item stay in your cart; and please put the item at the bottom of page when it moves out of cart. I put something in my cart and had to cook breakfast and when I came back is was out of cart...then had to go search for what I put in my cart! Ugh!
otherwise I like the new checkout because I never use easy pay! Find it quicker.

@ Montana, Normally, another user's customized setting to float a topic won't affect us -- however, the OP of this thread has system privileges so the float feature takes effect for everyone (even those who aren't logged into the site). They've done this on purpose to keep this thread at the top of the sub-forum no matter who's reading.
If you're asking how to "unfloat" this thread we're posting in now... we can't do that because we don't have system privileges to change it. There are internal settings causing this to happen.
If you're saying that you also see another thread (by a poster who's not a QVC staffer) affixed to the top of the page when you log in, try this:
First log in to the Community. Next, go to the thread in question and select the option at the top and click/tap the "Un-float" option. (note: when a thread is not "floated" in our own, personal, customized settings, the option will read "Float this Topic for Current User")
I hope that makes sense... not sure if I explained it well. Brain's not exactly in gear today.🙃
