I watched the crafters companion lady on hsn showing the most beautiful handmade cards.............it was 6 x 6 cards and envelopes I believe. Can't seem to find that size. I thought it would look a bit nicer than the regular 5 x 7 cards.........

Square envelopes / cards require extra postage, that's probably why they are less popular,  Several times I've bought a card only to learn it was non-standard and would require extra postage.  That's maddening; the envelope could have at least said "extra postage required."

Maybe try to "search" on Amazon for that size and specify blank.

I find it funny that I can't remember the last time I actually put a card in the mail or even bought a card.

I remember my mom having me buying cards for my nieces and nephew only for them to open the envelope and throw the card aside only retrieving the money that flew out.   Maybe that's why I don't bother with any cards....now that I think about it.

I don't know why you can't find them but I am sure I could find 6x6 cards and envelopes on Amazon.  Amazon has everything.

ETA - @catlover I did another search on Amazon for 6 X 6 cardstock and a few came up.

Scrapbook stores carry 12 x 12 paper and cardstock.  Just cut it in half.  I don't know if such a product still exists, but years ago I bought a Create-a-Lope from QVC to make any size envelope from any paper.  If it's no longer sold anywhere, there are sure to be lots of alternative products to make custom size envelopes.

It's quite a bit more expensive to mail a square card.
