Peachy, yes he is the one I was thinking of.

I was going to add the Dalai Lama, but he is very shy and giggles more than he speaks.

Another person that I find very interesting is Anderson Cooper.

Oh good, Dr. Hawass was the first one I thought of- yes on the Dalai Lama and Anderson Cooper- would love to know more about the Vanderbilts..

Both Bush presidents ... I love their humor.

Me too. I say we plan a trip to Kennebunkport and join in one of the family get-togethers. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I'm in. Be sure to send me one of those e-vites with the date and time.

Hey, let's go in early October. Maine is beautiful in the fall. I'm sure lobster will be on the menu too. Also lots of great conversation. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Re: who would you like to meet?

DH said he'd love to meet Charles Krauthammer and Mike Huckabee and have a three way conversation.

He also wants to tag along when we go to Kennebunkport.

Re: who would you like to meet?

I'd like to meet a contractor who would advise me clearly and without too much flim-flam on the best choices to replace the windows on my house.

Re: who would you like to meet?

Besides some of the more obvious that have already been mentioned, I've always wanted to meet Carlos Santana. I know people who have played with him, but I've never gotten the chance to meet him myself. At least not yet. I'm still hoping. I've had a crush on him since 1970.

terrier3 -- enjoyed the story about Ben A

Who would I like to meet? We've lost some global 'greats' over the past 5 years. I believe Billy Graham is another one of those accomplished, special people who make a difference in the world. I'd like to sit in a rocking chair on his front porch, drink sweet tea and chat with him. And if Phillip Phillips, James Taylor, Jimmy Fallon, Carol King and Oprah dropped by then more the better!

Ronald Reagan and Bobby Flay. Both for a day, please.
