Re: when you experience anxiety (!), are you an eater or not?

My appetite decreases dramatically when I am super worried about something.

I lose my appetite with anxiety, worry, or illness.....I had the flu back in January and just did liquids (hot tea, hot lemonade, ginger ale, and a tiny bit of soup....lost weight.... Meanwhile my friends that got sick said it didnt deter their appetite at all and they even had pizza delivered....Woman LOL

No, I'm more of a boredom eater, although most of the time I pretty much eat on a schedule.

Re: when you experience anxiety (!), are you an eater or not?

When I was younger --in my teens and 20's and even in my 30's--when I was anxious eating was the last thing I want to do.

Even now I have to think about it but --chocolate is something that I want and try to stay away from.

I have to remember to eat and drink.

I fill up rather quickly though when I do eat--which I guess is a good thing unless I am eating something that is not so good.

I guess it is a good thing that I am not a chip/ french fry type of person.

I usally grab for a string cheese or a piece of chocolate--double edged sword.

I can always tell if I am truly upset about something because I lose my appetite.  If I can eat, it's not that bad.
