I turned 70 in May. For my gift to myself I went on a Viking River cruise. My DH is disabled so he couldn't go and I went with my brother which worked out well.
For the actual birthday day, my family surprised me by taking off of work ( it was on a Thursday) and driving me to my favorite beach. We had a lovely lunch in Cape May, NJ and did some shopping along with going on the beach.🏖️
Have a very happy birthday!!!🎁🎈🎂

Turning 65 is a milestone in our country but someone said get a tattoo???
For what?
We have to stop playing the life milestone games. I don't believe 65 or 60 or even 70 is
anything different, but a natural process of living.
Everyday every year is a blessing. Surely taking time always in gratitude.
Maybe a time of reflection, a sweet meal that you like and a nice walk in a place that is beautiful to the eyes and spirit. A good latte with it wouldnt hurt lol.

We always celebrate birthdays, and special years are even more enjoyable.
What can you do for FUN on your special day?
Have a party
Go to an amusement park
Buy a diamond necklace or earrings
Go to the zoo
Take a local boat tour
Go out dancing in a nightclub
Have dinner in a fancy restaurant
Ride in a race car at the local racing track
Go on a balloon ride
Book a cruise or take one
Spend the day at the spa
Go horseback riding
Get a glam photo shoot
Once I sent my husband on a combat pilot flight experience, but often he is skiing.
My list of ideas in endless--however budget, time, and fitness level must be taken into account.

@I am still oxox I also turned 65 in February of 2020! Thankfully, since we were doing some projects for local schools (DH is an architect), we were deemed "essential" and allowed to stay open. We still went to work each day, to the grocery once a week, and to church after a two-month shutdown there.
Some things were hard to find, of course, and we didn't go anywhere but those three places. It was an "interesting" year for sure!

Whatever you decide to do, do it now and don't wait, for the day will come when things might not move as you intend them too.
