I am bothered by people who intentionally deceive others in order to take advantage of them (my daughter's former friend along with that friend's mother), and also by people who are nosy and destructive, and insistently and incessantly insert their own perspective and ideas, forcefully, into the minds and lives of others in order to control them without knowing when to stop doing this (as they end up permanently ruining long-standing friendships and professional relationships). These nosy people refuse to mind their own business and let people parent their own chiildren as they see fit and live their own lives. (I have one such friend, and I am now wondering if she truly is a friend -- or a potential frenemy -- considering what she has already done to two of her other friends, who are no longer speaking to her, due to what she has done/said to them and to their children. I wonder if I am next on her list of people to make angry, and I have begun to distance myself from her.)

Ignorance and stupidity for sure.

People who can't distinguish propaganda from the truth.
People who refuse to believe or see the truth even when facts are presented right in front of their eyes. These people don't want to hear or see anything negative that will burst the bubble they have been living in.
Also hypocrisy. It appears to be contagious and rampant right now.
What's so shocking to me is how many people have succumbed to this thinking. It's more of a recent troubling phenomena.
ITA .... but, beyond that, what really bothers me is how poorly educated some adults are. They have no idea how the government works ... or real life in general .... and just have no common sense.
Even if they didn't go past high school, they just don't understand enough about life to function and live a decent life .... and worse yet .... these people have children!
Oh my, yes and it has become clear to me they are actually incapable at this point.
They don't understand how the government works because many schools are no longer teaching how it works, but many students are incapable of understanding it anyway. United States' country IQ has been declining in recent years. Every student has been and is given an IQ test is school.
Yes...common sense has been thrown out the window, so has logic, and critical thinking.

She finally got a job (I wrote her a glowing letter of recomommendation) and then I didn't hear from her again...until she posted that she'd been out with some "good friends" and of course I wasn't included.
I asked her about it and received such a nasty response that it was like a slap in the face. I was really shocked. Needless to say, I haven't tried to reconnect with her.
My wife could have wrote your exact post. This person was a good friend to both of us. The mistake my wife made was loaning her hundreds of $$$$. That was many years ago, and since it was my wife's money! I left it up to her to decide how she wanted to handle it, but this friend(?) knew before this, what I thought of her. Sad!

I can't say that anything particular "bothers" me to any extent now.
There were in the past - but I stopped watching TV news in 1998.
It's easy (for me) to ignore annoyances.

HATE OF ANY KIND SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED!!
I agree with you. Hate never solves anything and is harmful to the person that does it. People may strongly disagree with a lifestyle or even a thought but there is never a good reason to hate another human being. If a person does feel it...then they should get rid of it asap as it will harm them more than the person they hate.
