Although I'm wearing my flag shirt, have the bunting and flag up on the front porch already, I'll be ordering some sort of takeout tonight, working in the yard, doing laundry and watching the fireworks on TV

And listening to the neighborhoods next to me set off fireworks (which are illegal in this area) who started weeks ago.  It bothers me that some people have no regard for their neighbors.  I feel bad for the dogs who are frightened and the veterans with PTSD (who have mentioned this on the local website), but people don't care.  This year the city put out a reward for those who turn their neighbors in....pretty sad it has to come to that, but in addition to the pets and veterans, we are in high fire danger times.

We will take some birdseed to my parents. 

And later tonight, when people start doing the fireworks that sound like bombs going off, we will try to keep the dogs calm like we have been doing about all week. That is about it.

We're just hanging out at home (as we usually do) and having bbq for dinner. I snagged the last lap lane reservation at our pool for 2 hours tonight, so we'll cool off before heading home to watch the fireworks on tv. If we get lucky, the Blue Angels/Thunderbirds flyover will pass over our home. One of our neighbors is planning to set off some fireworks somewhere on the street, so we'll be on the lookout for those, too.

@newname0 I have a hair appointment this a.m.!!! My first since Jan. 22! I'm in WA state and all the smart and careful people are staying at home.

No get togethers/except virtually (smart), no parties, except virtually (smart). On the other hand the morons in the state are having group get togethers and will whine  and post their regrets when some of them get the virus.

I have a grocery pickup scheduled. Other than that, I will be actively avoiding other people. It is not safe here.

Staying home.  Swim in the pool, watch movies, cook on the grill.

Nothing spectacular.  I am still staying at home and inside except for grocery pickups and a few appointments....my family members are all doing the same, so no cookout this year.

It is too hot for me to enjoy even a walk outside, so I am enjoying (and grateful for!) air conditioning.

Making a chicken wrap, cucumber salad, and slicing a little watermelon for dinner.  Not big on fireworks, so I will find other things to watch on tv.
