i grab a coffee, sit down and turn on the early news...they do a recap of the weekend happenings, and i see that a fire has destroyed my grandparents' former home, where my mama grew up...burned to the ground...the owners were not at home and are safe, thank god...

it was really sad to see, but some of my grandfather's shrubs and fig trees were still evident...i had a lot of good memories of time spent in that house.

...then they show a story where there was vandalism in a local historic cemetary and they pan over the scene, and i see my grandparents' headstone among those toppled over and destroyed.

oh, well...that's it and i feel much better now.
