I never thought I'd say this, but I miss the WC of the older days. We used to laugh at my DH's parents as they always had it on, Sacto area of Ca., then we started doing it also, as we got older. Now I can barely find it in the channels. No reason to watch and I don't.

I too miss the old WC......don't watch it any more.  Get excellent weather reports on our local channels if something is going on that we need to be alerted to.....and they stay on the air with that until things have cleared up. 

Guess it is sort of like the Q......they make so many changes, and then people don't watch it anymore.  Therefore, sales have to be going down.

My DH who is a beter than amateur meteorologist, totally agrees with you about Sam. My DH even teaches WX classes at a community college.

GMA is all commercials. Poor Ginger still walking backwards in heels while pregnant. George looks like he hates sitting next to people who aren't on his intellectural plain. Nobody in my family can stand that blonde chick who acts all goofy. Laura Spencer, think her name is.

I flip channel to CBS. Charlie Rose looks like he's been on a hang over all his life and posture is horrible. Nora McDonald has something going on with her white under the eyes and the rest of her face looks orange all the time. Like she has a sunburn and wore glasses, so, she has that white margin under her eyes. Maybe she doesn't apply the orange make up all the way up to the eyes. Gail King has a different color of hair every week.

I 'm only interested mainly in what's going on or is coming my way and don't like the local weather break ins. I think the Weather channel is more on the ball and has better equipment then the local yokels in my area.

I use to be able to flip to WC on the 8's and get a good idea what I'm in for weather wise and what alerts they're showing.

When I saw Arizona had snow I hit the WC wanting the news on such a rare occurance I'm still waiting. Hubbo said I'd have to find a Arizona TV station online and watch it direct because you can't get blood from a turnip.
