didn't know where to put this, but we have a lunar moth! I think it's exciting. Son pointed it out to me this AM on our holly bush. Looked it up and I'm excited to have one. Anyone else??

Had one in our yard once. Thought it was a big leaf. Til I got close to it. Scared me.

They're beautiful! I remember seeing one when I was in high school.

Once it becomes a moth -- the Luna does not eat. They eat as a caterpillar. They only live about a week -- their job at this stage is to lay eggs.

Hey you, get off of my cloud...

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

looked for it this evening, no show. hope it's done all it's supposed to do. I love seeing these 'wonders'. Also this AM walking the dog out back, saw a coyote track in the mud! haven't seen one for a while. We had a heck of a lot of rain last night and it made good 'mooshy' stuff for prints!
