As luck would have it, I have shrunk 2 of my favorite blouses. I wondering if there is anyway to unshrink them.
Google says to soak them in warm water with hair conditioner for 30 minutes, then wring out excess water, stretch out on a towel to original size and let dry.
Has anyone tried this, or do you have any other idea?

What are they made of?

They are both 100% vicose. And I don't know what that even is.

I just read they should never be dried in the dryer. It says they dry very quickly because it doesn't retain moisture. Well, I wish the tag wouldn't have said to tumble dry on low.
UGH

Sorry that happened to you. I've made that mistake, too. After my tops came out of the dryer all shrunken, I read the washing instructions and of course they said not to put in dryer. I had never had 100% viscose before. I'm afraid your tops are ruined.

@happycat Viscose is rayon. Did you read and follow the laundering instructions? Some rayon is machine washable and dryable and some is not. If you've already ruined the pieces, you can try any remedy you wish as you're not going to harm anything, although I doubt it will work. Let us know how it goes.

@happycat Try this. It's worth a shot. This is a step by step how to on the Wiki How site. They give excellent advice.

I hand wash rayon garments or in the machine on cold. they always come out hard and shrunken. line dry and the fibers will usually relax but the garment may shrink up in the length. I've ironed rayon items back into shape. medium iron, use a pressing cloth. turn item inside out and iron on the inside. Never wash a garment, coats and jackets, with a rayon acetate lining or item made of acetate. that type of rayon always shrinks and will ruin the jacket or coat.

Yes, both tops say to machine wash cold, which I did, and tumble try low, which I did. I just think my dryer might have gotten too hot. I am so irrirtated with myself.
I am going to try what @Mindy D has suggested and then just go from there.
If they are too little for me, my daughter might like them, she is smaller than me.
I hate it because I really like both tops and I felt confident in them.

Viscose ranks on the bottom for quality of rayon fabric. Most viscose garments don't launder well and many require dry cleaning. Viscose garments stain easily and the fabric doesn't hold it's shape. The manufacturing process for viscose is not an ecofriendly one.
