@Bjjo wrote:I feel, think the OP is sharing holism views that everything in existence is connected as part of a whole. Self spirituality and authority of self. This thought was becoming wide spread in our western culture during the 1960s, 70s, 80s as finding inner peace deriving from Eastern practices. Many metaphysical books, Training courses, plays, music were written and still are. Swamis, Jung and many more points to self enlightment. The emphasis is on SELF. I do agree that daily positive thoughts are healthy and needed as we go through life's challenges. But, this totality simplistic teaching/ view is not as simplistic as it first appears. Must be very careful if one feels they have the answer and it is fairly new to them and sincerely wants to pass on their discovery without fully understanding or knowing the PITFALLS and where it can eventually lead them.
I love the bracelet that was presented. The quote is Shakespearian and my soul really speaks from my heart everyday when I reach out to others.
It's not just about SELF. It's about "self" feeling and knowing there is a connection to a universal energy. It's about using one's "selfness" to enable that connection, and to know that when there is a disconnect, that is when those so-called "bad" things happen, and when there is a connection, the "good" in life is prevalent. And to know that the universal energy is pure positive energy. Why wouldn't a "self" want to be connected to that?
And if anyone might think of this in terms of selfishness, doing what the "self" wants can easily include being of service to others. It doesn't only mean sitting around and eating chocolates, or whatever connotes "selfishness" in one's personal set of definitions.

Ok,Sparrow.....I will not post any more. I wasn't talking about evil spirits pertaining to you but someone else I know....who had an experience...It was a long time ago. I will respect your wishes for not wanting this to turn into religion. To me religion and spirituality are two different things....but it is, I guess just too hard for me to talk about one without mentioning the other. This is your topic. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings and I think your right...I should problaby bow out...I don't quite understand.

Our world consists of 11 dimensions. The energy (spirits ghosts) in one of those other dimensions do come to our dimension. Some humans can see them and even touch them, or be touched by them.
Scientific studes have demonstrated the existence of telepathic or other types of natural higher consciousness abilities to a certainty of 75 million to one. No wonder when someone shares any kind of higher consciousness event the masses say it is not so and some even call them evil and working with evilness. I have often wondered why those people almost never see it as beautiful, good and positive?
Make your day wonderful...make is so. Hold that thought. Focus.
I agree that there are several dimensions up and down and around us. It it not something new in Native American thought. However, I have to differ that some are not evil. Some are bad, very bad for us. The challenge is to have compasion but not inter-act with them, send them on or back to their dimension or realm. Life is full of the fantastic. Just don't play with things you don't understand. You invite problems.

What I am talking about is ideas of mine. I was forced to understand AFTER I experienced wonders and profound mysteries where I stood in Awe of seeing, knowing and having knowledge of such things in my own reality. I never have read those books of ideas you talked about. I read science mainly. I like to read space science and other dimensions.
When I experienced The Mysteries I had to find the answers myself. If I shared what I saw all I would get from others is negative words sent to me. They can not understand, and they can not believe when I start out telling them about the flying saucer that I had contact with years ago. Right after that mind blowing event of Wonders to behold that took me to the ground of Wonders to behold....I was changed forever. I became a better human Being.
After that flying saucer event I had another experiences that was different from the first event. I had to solve that mystery myself and alone. Each time after I solved that one mystery for myself to have not only Knowledge of, but I had to have Understanding too. Only then did I have another experience and each time the new experience was different from the other experiences. I had to again... try to solve what that was all about and get the understanding again.
It was as if something (they) waited for me like a parent waits for the child to learn something new before another new thing was taught to the child. I was thankful of that action. I needed that something (they) to wait for me to get understanding.
Each experience was different. Each one was down right profound to me, and expanded my own understanding about our consciousness creates or influences reality. If I told you how I learned that idea you would not...you could not... believe what I would tell you. I do not need negative words sent to me over my own reality of my own reality.
As Einstein said, " To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms ----this knowledge, this feeling is at the centre of true religiousness."
Again I am not talking about any kind of religions. I keep talking about our own higher consciousness.
Ahh yes arent you the poster who stated NOTHING everyone thinks or says is original or unique- it ALL comes from somewhere/someone else?? So if that is true, according to you, then no, the ideas were not yours but a conglomeration of ideas and thoughts you've heard elsewhere from others or read about or learned in school or elsewhere. That would be demonstrated by the very fact that you quoted Einstein as a source (or evidence/proof/validation?) of your earlier stated thoughts and that you cite scientific studies. You even state that "they" gave you this knowledge, "they" were behind the ideas you have now. So again, it is not your own ideas but rather based on that which was shared with you.
Or is that only YOU can think and have original thoughts and ideas and it is just everyone else in the world who are an amalgamation of everyone else's ideas and thoughts over time. Only YOU are unique?
ETA: One other point- if you are so enlightened and were chosen in such a way that basically you had amazing knowledge and information bestowed upon you why not do something great with that profound knowledge? Seriously. Do like the other people who claim similar experiences (yes, Tesla and Einstein are examples) and use that knowledge and experience to create amazing things, solve mathematical problems, develop physics theories, etc? Start talking to the other greats of the world and collaborate with them. If someone is given such access to information and experiences beyond that which we know of here on Earth and that the average human will never experience, don't you think that you need to DO something with that, beyond discussing it here on a shopping channel forum? This is not meant to be snarky either, I'm genuinely asking.

I thoroughly understand about higher consciousness as you stated in your last sentence. Experience is the teacher rather you stumbled through science or other avenues. Do more research.

Homegirl: this goes back to my original response. Has nothing to do with being self absorbed / eating chocolates , greedy , self centered.

I didn't say your post had anything to do with selfishness. I added that definition for reference.
I don't know what this sentence means: Experience is the teacher rather you stumbled through science or other avenues.
Can you explain?

Is Hear My Soul Speak a book?
‎09-13-2015 02:42 PM
The origin of the phrase is Shakespeare in The Tempest, and it is a (romantic) LOVE reference, not what SK has decided it means - or rather, what she wants it to reference (jewelry denoting courage in the face of adversity). I suppose she (and QVC) imagine no one watching will know that, or care.

I must have taken a wrong turn. Is this now the Sci-Fi Forum? ![]()
