There have been so many..... I love my live events. CSN&Y, Bruce, Bon Jovi, Eagles (Don solo), Fleetwood Mac (Stevie several times solo), Cat Steven (& also Yusef!), Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkel (plus each solo numerous times), Queen (not with Freddie but love Adam!), ELO, Linda Ronstadt, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney (also Wings), Ringo Starr, The Who (post Keith Moon), The Stones, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, James Taylor, TIna Turner, Jethro Tull, Lady Gaga  .... even Tony Bennett, Pavorotti and Andrea Bocelli! YES I can go on & on!

With the pandemic I might upgrade my 40" tv to enhance my 'at home' concerts!

Off to college - SUNY in 1968 and free concerts Blood Sweat and Tears, Chicago, The Who. Sometimes I think I have forgotten some - Do think I  have best memories of BST and oh, Jefferson Airplane.....

I've seen so many fabulous shows through the years....but the one that stands out most was the J. Geil's Band.  Peter Frampton was the headliner, and the Steve Miller Band also played.

All three were wonderful...but I have to say, J. Geils stole the show....they were FABULOUS!

That was around 1977...maybe 78.

@alicedee  Love J. Geil's Band too. I always play 80's music around the house

throughout the day. A couple years ago, my then young son, not yet a teenager,

asked me innocently, Mom what is a centerfold? Sign of the times Woman Happy

Judaline!!

I posted about seeing Led Zeppelin but I can appreciate you seeing the Flamingos.  I love their music, their harmony and as you said so smooth.  There were so many great groups in the fifties who didn't reach the heights that the Beatles, Stones and many others did but the English groups appreciated our fifties music.

My brother went to a few of Alan Freed's Brooklyn Paramount concerts and he introduced me to some great groups of the time the Flamingos were one of his favorites.  I enjoyed the sounds of Jackie Wilson who had an operatic voice, the Moonglows, Buddy Holly, Everly Brother, Della Reese and the list goes on and on.  All of these musical legends paved the way and I still love hearing them.  I think the Led Zeppelin group would agree.

@webbgarner1 I have been to many concerts.....I would say the first concert I ever saw which was Chicago in the 70's in New Haven CT and also the Stones who were rehearsing for their tour at Toad's club in New Haven ct in 89'.  And of course Bob Dylan who I saw in the 60's at the Newport Folk Festival when he switched to electric guitar in the second half of his concert and the many times thereafter when I saw Bob Dylan right up until about 5 years ago in the Catskills.

I went to so many concerts in the very late 70's, the 80s and 90s. Way too many to list. Some of my favorites took place at Philadelphia's JFK stadium and the old Spectrum.

My top faves were:

Live Aid at JFK Stadium

Springsteen at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park NJ and at the Spectrum (multiple times)

Pink Floyd at JFK Stadium

Stones at JFK (Journey opened for them)

Journey, John Cougar Mellencamp, Sammy Hagar, Bryan Adams and the Tubes at JFK

Just saw Bryan Adams last summer. Had a blast!

Also great in concert, Rick Springfield, saw him 3 times and each time was

better.

A great show 2 summers ago, Eddie Money, now almost a year this September

that we lost him. Will never forget him, still listen to his music. Also that night

was Greg Kihn Band and Tommy Tutone at a fair.
