~ trash calls and TXT's on my cellphone ~

I don't know what to do anymore. I am on the do not call list - just updated it 2 months ago. Still I get calls from Utah, Canada .... everywhere. I don't answer anything that doesn't come up with a name but I look up the AC to see where it came from. Frustrating.

Well, last night, DURING THE NIGHT WHILE I WAS SLEEPING, I got a TXT - a trash TXT about "having won some junk." I finally got back to sleep and I got another one! This one was saying that "a friend from Yahoo needed to hear from me .... blah, blah, blah, blah." That time I couldn't get back to sleep - it was 3:30 AM.

OMG, I'm going to go nuts! Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything at all to do about it? I've written to Verizon (my cellphone carrier), but what good that will do I don't know.

HELP?
