Re: the security guard who was shot at Vegas

The investigation is on going.

If the sheriff had said nothing, released no information, people would be suspect as to why.

When he gave the first time line, it was correct based on information at that time.

As the investigation continued, the time line changed based on new  information.

Nothing hinky.

Nothing shady.

People are seeing conspiracies where there are none.

Yes, this was a horrific event that doesn't make sense as to why it happened.

But sometimes bad things happen for no rhyme or reason.

It's likely that there was no one single event that set him off.

He could have just been mad at the world, because he was unhappy with his own life, and he wanted to take his unhappiness out on everybody, and to punish everyone.

We may never know what set him off because the answer simply doesn't exist.

That does not mean that the police are hiding the answer from the public, or that they are keeping the answer from us.

I swear, even if the doubters were actively involved in the investigation themselves, and saw for themselves just how hard the police are investigating this case, and saw that there is no one single "ah-ha!" moment, or clue, or piece of evidence, they still wouldn't believe it.

I'm surprised that people haven't started to claim that the security guard was the shooters accomplice, and was in on it.

Re: the security guard who was shot at Vegas

There was a second employee in 32nd floor who was shot at pre shooting spree.  Both employees called in their incidents and it was more than 10 mins until swat response.  Sounds to me like MGM and/or LVPD share liability (watch those lawsuits fly).

It takes time to get geared up and to drive there, go through the casino, and to get to the floor.

They are not on site 24/7.

They got there as quickly as possible.

They're all at the station?  None driving around the area, just looking things over, keeping an eye on things?

Of course they got there as quickly as possible; but with this information that the guard was shot 6 minutes earlier than the first report of when the shooter started shooting, it took them 6 minutes more than thought.

Popular commentary on all the major news networks are saying that the timeline opens up the MGM for major lawsuits.

I think there's more to this massacre story than meets the eye.  Something stinks here, don't know what but something sure does.  I just hope that the public is eventually told the truth.

Thankfully I do not own shares of MGM stock.  Prayers for all affected by this terrible event.
