Hello All!  Funny thing happened today at the pharmacy.  I am standing in line patiently waiting my turn, when the young lady at the counter asked the customer front of me to look at the screen and acknowledge the question.  the lady went nuts!!  She started fussing about everyone these days wants a tip!  The world is going nuts with greed!  Now the pharmacy wants a tip too!!  She was furious.

The store manager came over and she fussed at him about corporate greed and everyone is trying to make a buck on the back of the little guy.  The staff stood there and waited until she finished and then....the girl behind the counter said...we need your phone number so we can look for your prescriptions!  The lady just burst out laughing and so did I.  She apologized to the team and said she just got confused.  We all had a great big belly  shaking laugh after this one!!  Life can be super funny sometimes!!

@QVCkitty1 t funny part is that most places that you go will ask you for a tip by saying something like the screen will ask you a question when they are asking for a tip.  they will often turn the screen around so hopefully you will mark a box and add a tip.   The lady at the pharmacy thought that is what they wanted to ask her and she was mad.  After she became aware they just needed her phone number she realised her mistake.  We have become so conditioned to being asked to tip everywhere in her mind for a minute she thought she was being asked to tip again. Hope that helps!

Hi.  I think at checkout time asking for a tip is quite funny too.

I don't always bring my reading glasses with me and so sometimes it's hard to read what they want.

I'll give you one better.  I had a laser procedure two weeks ago at a plastic surgeons office.  I was burning up after and wanted to go home and put some ice on my face.

I saw it asked how to much to tip, 15, 20 percent, etc.  Now on a simple facial or a massage of course I would like to tip them my usual 20 percent.  We all work for a living.

Dummy me presses 20 percent to a Doctor and I signed?  When I saw the 320.00 tip I went nuts. They immediately took it off.Of course.

It happens.

Yep @Franklinbell  it was and still is.  I'm going back tomorrow for round 2.  I'm bringing my readers.

I remember years ago when I was young that even the Beauty Salon owner should not be tipped.  I'm not sure.  Only the stylists working for owner.

I read the same thing. My stylist moves heaven and earth for me so I do tip her! Let me know how beautiful your are after round two! The things we do !!

@Franklinbell : Totally understand the frustration. I am dealing with health issues and not able to cook. We are using Grubhub for delivery. We try to give a good tip. You are notified the delivery driver is starting to the restaurant and asked to give an extra tip. When the driver starts for the delivery you are asked for extra tip. Paying for convenience is expensive. Everything is increasing in price and seeing increasing request for tips.
