She went missing after she transferred her child to it's father...who is also her fiancee.

They have a child together.  According to her mother, the woman is excited to be getting married but they haven't set a date yet.

They have a child together.  Does anyone else think it's unusual that they're engaged (that's how one has a fiancee, yes?), they have a child together, she's excited about getting married...but they live separately?

Something wrong with that picture...IMO.

Re: the missing Colorado woman

It was reported that mom and dad broke up. Baby dadddy and her mother did not report her missing for ten days. This is an odd one. Especially because it is in Colorado right after the Chris Watts case.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

@Nancy Drew  Thanks.  So maybe that "excited to be getting married" is old news.

Re: the missing Colorado woman

What I first zeroed in on was her phone pinging 700 miles away in Idaho shortly after her going missing.  That's a long way!

Since she is a pilot, I assume she knows other pilots (co-workers, etc)  and another pilot could have abducted her and thrown the phone out (or turned it on to send the texts), explaining the large distance.

This would explain her disappearance with little trace of her .... and how her phone was 700 miles away.

Their relationship doesn't surprise me as I’ve know couples with the same scenario. What surprises me is that it took 10 days for her mom and baby’s dad to report her missing. Even If the dad was supposed to have the child, I would think that he and the mom would stay in communication daily, and 10 days is a long time to not hear from the baby’s mom, especially since they are planning to be married. Heck, no contact for more than one day seems odd to me.

This may sound nuts but could mom & fiancé be involved in her disappearance? We live in very strange times.

I am obsessed with watching all of those 'reality' shows on ID channels, etc and every single time when the woman is missing, she turns up dead......every single time.

It seems to me that there will be an ugly ending to this story.

Re: the missing Colorado woman

I found it odd when her Mom said she wouldn't do something like this. She loves her dog, her job, but never mentioned her baby.
