the best funeral ever...

we just got home from the funeral of a friend (she was only 52) who passed away on sunday and it was just wonderful.

per her instructions and plans, it was held at her late father's restaurant and after the religious service, there was a full buffet, oyster bar, dessert bar with everything chocolate, open bar, and a band who played all of her favorite music, which she selected...on each table there were pink roses and white tulips, her favorite flowers.

we ate, danced, and the family, her friends and colleagues shared their memories and eulogized this wonderful woman, and we laughed through our tears.

what a celebration of a beautiful woman's life.
