the bargains continue at Borders

This morning I suddenly was on the road again, heading to the Borders store 45 minutes away. I'd found a gift card that still had on it a small amount I hadn't used, but what really got me going was a notice that Border Plus members would get an extra 15% off.

So many wonderful books, and so beautifully organized! I spent $60 and got four hardcovers, a calendar, and two boxes of beautiful Christmas cards. My receipt noted that I had saved $117.29.

I am not happy that Borders is closing, but I am pleased to be adding to my personal library.
