I, too, thought the first season was the best, and this most recent season was the weakest. It didn't hold my interest as much this time around. I have mixed feelings about the ending of this show (as I did about Treme), though, because I'll miss them both. Great writing, music, acting... not easily found on tv these days.

well they got rid of two of my fav's - richard and jimmy!!! i was holding on for chalky white and capone! they need a show of their own!! both actors are great and i will miss them the most!
