When I click on Profile, I don't get Personal Preferences...  How do I get there?

I'm sorry.  You click on My Settings.  Then Personal Information.  HTH

Hello,  I recognize your former name well. Thanks for the info to get to my sig. I could not get to my personal prefrences to save my life ??

So after about 4 hrs of searching trying to get that done...and the fact that when you try to pull up your currant post, or my currant post...only thing coming up is the old topics that they chose to keep since 2010.

Hopefully things will smooth out more over the next week or so, usually does :smileywink ~ geesh nice emoticon, haha

thx again..

What do you want to do with it? Do you want it in italics?

If so, put <em> in front of your siggy  and hit save. HTH

I see you changed your's. It looks good.

All I did was put it in italics so it would look different from the post.

I hope I'm understanding what you want.

I just now saw this thread.

I posted a new discussion "~ Simple tip for italicizing your signature ~" and I'll add the info here, too:

'm no expert at using this new forum, so maybe I missed it...  but I don't believe the settings or the display allow the user signature to be separated from the body of the response.   As a result, it appears we're adding those words to our reply each time, and that might be misleading (or might just look a little strange Robot wink).

For those who want to add a signature, just go into "My Settings."  Then under "Personal Profile" click on "Personal Information."

This system allows HTML tags.  So, if you want italics, preface the siggy with

< em >

WITHOUT the space before and after "em."

I have to add the spaces to be able to show you the code...  without them, my text will convert to italics and the code won't display.

But if you don't remove the spaces, the code won't work in the signature line.

hth!  That's probably as clear as mud.Robot LOL   I know, it's a small thing, but on some days simple pleasures are good!

Thank you...it was clear to me. :-)

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
