shipping

I recently ordered 4 LDO items. One was a cotton jacket, one was the lace jacket and 2 tops. I received four packages. Three of these items could have fit nicely in 1 bag. So I paid shipping on 4 separate packages. And I found out something interesting at the PO. I normally receive my mail at home, but went to the PO for supplies. They said UPS just delivered packages for you. Huh? UPS delivers to the PO and then the PO delivers to me. Has something to do with the USPS grounding some of its' planes. Wouldn't it make more sense just to send it UPS and forgets the USPS. Wonder what that adds to the cost of shipping?
