The only recipe I know of pickled in a tomato base is copper pennies which has carrots in it. I too would like to hear of the one you are seeking. Are you talking about hot peppers or sweet peppers?

You might want to post in the Kitchen and Food, too. Those posters are wonderful at finding and knowing about food stuff. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Are you talking about banana peppers in a ketchup, vinegar, sugar type sauce? My husband and I used to can these all the time. If that's what you're talking about let me know. I'll try to dig out the recipe.

Sonjap, got to Stello foods.com and check out their hot ringers and mild ringers. Peppers in a wonderful red sauce. I am completely hooked. Mr. henny just ordered a few of the extra large jars for me. I add it to everything! If you try it let me know what you think!--they are pickled peppers.
