LOL...hysterical.  I purchased 4 things approximately 2 hrs before midnight on NY EVE...literally stopped my celebration with my hubby, took those 4 things off my wish list and said......thats it.  Gonna relax in 2019.  Only getting what I CANNOT RESIST.  I am even watching less to curb my temptation.  I dont know about you all but I always seem to find something I love and have to say no to.

Congratulations!  QVC has very good marketing tactics and it can be a challenge to hold off and not buy into the assumed pressure to buy.  Happy New Year!

Well I already broke a resolution to go the month of January with no purchases.  But I can start "not buying" again tomorrow.

IMO, even obtaining a Q card is just an invitation to overspend.   Thankfully, QVC just doesn't have that many things I need. anymore.

My spending dropped considerably when I decided to only purchase beauty or jewelry items .....  they are the easiest and cheapest to return if I'm paying for my own postage ... not usig those stupid $6.95 return labels.  Not knocking what anyone else does, just saying what I did.

With the increase in postage and slow delivery I will shop and watch less QVC. UPS has 12 days to deliver some items that were promised earlier.

I don’t need any more Christmas decorations and if clothing doesn’t fit it’s expensive to return.

I resolve to clean closets, garages and the attic before Summer and not refill them.

Like others have said, its only January and I may relent!

So....this post made me curious.  I wanted to cut down on QVC purchases. 2017.  27 items. 2018. 11 items.  No hsn or other channels.  But my BBW, Macy’s and Home goods/TJ/Marshall’s purchases were not calculated. 😀. Maybe I should track my “non qvc” purchases.  Now if I could just get my Beauty stash down....it has improved in 2018 but still a long way to go!  Guilty as charged.  Maybe I need to get back on the weekly what did you use up beauty thread again.

Pay off debt...that's my goal every month. I love it when I see "0" in the balance column.Woman Happy

The few things I have seen on the Q website don’t interest me in the least. Stale items and dated clothing.Just because I am a senior doesn’t mean I want to dress in clothes from decades ago. I already donated those.

That's because they ARE stale and overpriced.

I am not saving money!  Placed three orders for me already this year.

I did save money in December, as I didn’t do any christmas shopping for family  from Qvc.
