it seems the Q is into flooding us with the repetition of one or two product lines in a one or two day period -e.g., LOGO, Quacker, Susan G recently. is this working with you or would you prefer they try to up their sales with the introduction of more fresh lines of fashion, jewelry, etc?

QVC's repetitive programming and narrow branding haven't been working for me for several years... And now, just think, they can double the repetition of those same ten brands on two channels... I rarely turn it on anymore... It stopped being fun and really, that's the primary reason I watch TV...

I am not at all a "new and different" shopper - and that's pretty much true wherever I go. I might glance at something new and different, but as I surf or walk past. I do that here - I don't watch just because something is on; I watch what I already know I might buy and that means the tried and true is for me.
Over the years, I have ordered a few pieces of clothing from a new to the Q line, but there's not a single piece from any that stayed in the house long enough to be given closet space. When I go to Nordstrom, I check out only one of their departments about 90% of the time and buy from that department more than 95% of the time. Same with Bloomies and anywhere else I might go.
My biggest Q money goes to skincare - and I use products from the Philosophy and Perricone most often although I did order the last Peter Thomas Roth TSV and I'm liking it, but that's the closest to new and different I'm likely to get.

This has been a recurrent theme for me and many others..........QVC's products are so repetitive its become a 15 product rotation---monotonous and boring and certainly doesnt entice me to either watch QVC nor buy from QVC......QVC can "dress it up" with new shows, invigorate the shows with new hosts and change QVC Plus to Q2 but just doesnt work for me....ZZZZZZZ! QVC is losing the interest of their long time customers. I'm not advocating going back to the "good ole days", I havent even been a Q customer that long to know what that means, ....Just some nice PRODUCT variety would be a welcome change............And PLEASE how many times do we need to see a TSV presented in one show---talk about being redundant!!! Isnt being presented ALL DAY LONG and in addition have its own show ENOUGH!!! QVC's current status quo is the reason I grab the remote and change the channel after taking a peek.............
P.S. How can a product be both NEW TODAY and yet CUSTOMER TOP RATED????? (i.e. Susan Graver's cold shoulderdress) That's another thing that needs to change, QVC's definition of "NEW" they can start there!!!..................

Our shopping habits and priorities clearly change as we go through various life stanges, stll, whether I know what I like or not and whether I tend toward the same products most of the time or not... I still like to browse... Moreover, when I browse, I occasionally will try something... Browsing becomes a thing of the past with this level of repeition... The thing about 'new and different' is that you don't know if you're interested or not until you see it... and if you aren't seeing it, you aren't buying it... At the same time, a steady dose of 'tried and true' becomes stale and, for me, well, I'm not buying that either...

I don't watch as much now in part because of the repetition. Also I have purchased well made products that last a long time. I don't need/want more shoes or purses in red, black, brown, yellow, etc and shades of the same. The same can be said of the clothing. I don't need more of the same styles, colors, fabrics. Any purchase has to be different and really catch my eye to buy. At my age and my full closets I have no real need to shop except in 1 of my own closets. Not trying to done size I was shocked to see how much I had collected.
I laugh when I read my fashion magazines. These magazines were a good investment. What's old is new again. The style and color are probably already in my closet. I just found my wedding shoes from 1962. Pointed toes, skinny high heels still wrapped in their box. My DIL suggested I take them to 1 of several used clothing stores in the area. The used clothing store was delighted to get them and wants more. The college girls love the "older" style clothes. I was amazed at the price older clothes sell for. The store will buy more pre-2010 if I want to sell to them. I will continue to donate basics elsewhere but just might sell my other pieces. I did not realize how big a business good used clothing was.

I concur.....I enjoy browsing both locally and online, but nothing to browse here.................. And doesnt monotony also scare away any prospective customers too---So if they only see vacuums, computers, mattresses,It Cosmetics and Dooney every time they check the channel, why would they want to tune in and watch that same thing 52 weeks a year.(especially on the weekends)........Boy talk about driving customers to the arms of other retailers that would certainly do it!!!.... but Q thinks just dressing up the shows a bit will bring in the ca$h......they are sadly mistaken!

I agree.......and no matter what the QVC line---they all look the same now.......talk about repetition.........I guess if you dont like the cold shoulder, uneven hem, trapeze hem, or lace in various forms, you are out of luck........Well made, classic styles, with good quality fabric are hard to find these days.........
So true....it seems that designers these days are just retreading old styles and fabric patterns.......... Glad to see you can get some extra cash as the millenials go wild for the "retro" clothing....although they probably think these designs are original and fresh---LOL!!!
