Why does QVC insist on having sweepstakes on instagram or facebook?

I do neither so am puzzled as to why they need to do this.

you dont have to......you can enter by mail also.

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY: There are three (3) ways to enter the Sweepstakes, 1. On your mobile device via the Facebook mobile app (“Facebook”), 2. On your computer desktop or laptop via Facebook.com (“Facebook”), 3. Or by mail.

@hennypenny that and they want you to tag a friend... well who wants to tag people who will get junk mail from your tag?

tagging a friend on instagram and on facebook does not get you more junk mail. my daughters tag me all the time in sweepstakes on instagram and on facebook.

there is not necessarily a requirement to tag a friend on every sweepstakes.

there is the opportunity to enter by mail, which i already posted.

I don't ever enter sweepstakes on facebook. I always feel like they're able to get too much info on you that way.

A mail in entry compared to an online just doesn't make sense on how it would get into the kitty. Waiting for some clerk to key it in, no I think it's a waste of time and postage. I also don't have an instagram account and stopped using facebook.
