Soon means he/she doesn't have an exact date/time. I find this phrase acceptable.

When having a conversation with someone or watching a show on TV, the other person begins with "to be honest with you" is tiresome for me.
Does that mean, when they don't say it they are lying? It just makes no sense to me.
I also agree with other posters about "it is what it is" and "whatever".

I put it on a hanger and went through my closet and dresser and pulled together tops, blouses and even a jacket to make outfits.
@millieshopsThank you. So I guess I've been doing things right
I love the color turquoise! It's a happy color

Starting with "to be honest with you" typically means what follows is a lie.

I say most of those phrases at one time or another. I must be really annoying!
To be honest with you, I guess I'm just not a class act. I do a little bit of this and that, but at the end of the day, I'm just not pulled together. Oh well, it is what it is. I've got to go do some housework and what not, but I'll be back soon. You don't really care if I come back? Whatever!

I hate the superfluous "at"
Where is it AT
Where's the restaurant AT
What time are we going shopping AT
Drives me nuts.

You lost me. When does he say that, is it in response to any question, or something more specific? I don't remember ever using that phrase myself, and/or what it would be in response to.
Am I missing your point or did you leave something out? I ain't getting what you are putting down!

Pretty much the same as in a little while or in a while. A non-committal answer.
