Re: "USPS Ready for Pickup"...??

I'd contact the post office and make it clear there was no attempted delivery and that you'd appreciate the item to be sent out as soon as possible.

You shouldn't have to drive across town due to a delivery error. And, it does sound like an error was made at some point of the process.

This is what it says under my QVC order status dated for today:

"The post office attempted to deliver your UPS SurePost package and left a delivery notice with instructions."

That's a lie! They did no such thing. I've been here all morning and no postal person has been to my house today let alone leave a "notice" in my box.

@SilleeMee

My Q order was supposed to be delivered yesterday by mail according to Q's tracking. Today my order status says "processing"

Called CS this morning... they said they sent me an email saying it would be delivered on the 15th.  That is absolutely not true.

Wait out the process and order carefully from Q.  Cancelled my free ship order after that conversation with CS

What exactly does that mean?? My Informed Delivery info is showing that on a package I have coming but does it mean I have to go and get it? Does that mean it's not going to be delivered to my house now?  Help!

It is just notifying you that you have a package coming to your mailbox. They tell you how much mail is being delivered that day and how many packages..The packages will show you when it is to be delivered and the time to expect it. If you have any further questions, you can fill out a form on the website and USPS will respond. You can contact your local post office and ask them. I hope this helps.

Re: "USPS Ready for Pickup"...??

 I've received that message for several years. That simply means your package has arrived at the (main) USPS location for your area and will be delivered within a day or two.

In our city, the (main) USPS location is downtown and I live in a far, far southern location of town with its own small Post Office to serve this area of  several zip codes. It usually takes about one day for my packages to travel from the main USPS post office to our neighborhood post office (to be delivered).

Sounds like your population must have increased if USPS is changing the way you are receiving mail service! That's when they change machines and other stuff.

Not always for the quicker service to the customer, but makes that idiot heading the USPS happier. Guess who placed him in that job? SMH.
