"Shipped" changing to "backorder??"

Not one, but SEVERAL items ordered weeks ago, stating "processing your order," FINALLY went to "shipped." 2 days later, checking for tracking #, which HAD BEEN POSTED, now disappeared. And now states BACKORDER. REALLY?? The item was never stated as sold out, or advanced order when aired and purchased. Every year, the hosts are all pushing "guaranteed under the tree" nonsense. What is the only guarantee is it WON'T be sent! I know there are shipping issues, and people are trying hard. But a company like QVC, with all the competition out there, and as long as they've been an on air retailer...do NOT SELL what you don't have in stock. And tell the customer..."sorry"...VERY unprofessional, and uncaring. Not ok!

Add another life lesson to your experiences. I give places and people a 2nd chance, but! Twice is my limit!

I do hope you receive it.  I was afraid my order last Wed. would be after Christmas but as of this morning it is almost here.  Should receive it tomorrow is just a few towns over. Good luck.

The tracking and shipping info from QVC system is a mess🤦‍♀️

 

I would contact CS and get the real details before getting upset.

 

This happens a lot whether holiday or everyday with them.  It's worse with direct ship from vendors!

I ordered something 2 weeks ago finally out of "processing" to shipping...never order a gift from them it's for me.

 

I hope you receive your things.

When I checked on an order last night, it said that it was on back order so I called and the rep told me that it would be in anywhere from 1 to 60 days, if they can get it in. It’s called waitlist when it’s 1 to 45 days.

@itssuziblu    There's nothing to keep you from contacting the "super sleuth" mods at qvcsocialteam@qvc.com  to see if they can figure out what the status is.  Include your order numbers in the message.

It's bad enough when order tracking shows no movement.  But when movement starts going backwards?!  ...there are no words!

Thank u all for your kind wishes. It is frustrating to say the least. "Moving backwards" is exactly what happened. Lesson learned. Sometimes, there's a good reason for "the store with a door," as they like to say. In my hand and OUT the door! I will keep trying with CS. Merry Christmas to all you well-wishers!

I've been saying for a long time that if QVC does not have an item in stock for immediate shipping, it should not be selling it.
