Re: "Save Vanishing Species" -USPS stamps r BACK!

I'm 100% certain that those stamps won't do anything to save any animal.  I'm still living off the Forever stamps that I bought many, many years ago.  I have about 20 or 30 left.  I have no need for snail mail now.  I pay my bills online and communicate with friends and family by email, text or social media.  I do send about a somr Christmas and birthday cards to very elderly relatives who live out of state.

Any efforts to save vanishing species is something I support and in fact donate to a few causes.  I will purchase these stamps.  I still mail many cards and donations. If these stamps help animals, I will gladly buy them.

I am so glad these stamps are back!  I bought them the last time they were available and I will buy them again!  I love animals and will always do what I can to help them.

Re: "Save Vanishing Species" -USPS stamps r BACK!

Over $6.4 million has been raised for  Save the Vanishing Species .

There are 5 conservation funds that benefit from the sale of these stamps.

The USPS donates the net proceeds to these funds.

I tried to c/p the description but it seems the website would not allow it.

For a full description of the conservation funds just go to the USPS website.

I'd link but it seems links are touchy lately.

I wish they had done these as forever stamps.  I know this is probably so dumb to have to ask, but does each stamp add up to what a regular mail envelope would be?  I think it's more postage - but set me straight here please!

@chrystaltree  Well obviously the stamp alert threads are for people who still use / buy stamps.  I do and I appreciate the threads. I just skip threads that don't pertain to me.
