Re: "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON"

You read my mind, @jellyBEAN !   Those clearly are great as well.  Some historians have said in particular, that those reassuring words of FDR during the depths of the Depression are his finest legacy--  bracing the people by giving hope.

My favorite. When eagles are silent, parrots chatter.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Re: "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON"

@Oznell, I know we share a mutual love of history.  We watched a series on the History channel about George Washington.  It was divided into three segments, two hours each.  Absolutely fabulous!  Although it has already aired, I cannot believe it won’t be repeated.  And although it was not announced when, they have mentioned there will be a series about Grant upcoming.  That should also be interesting!  My love and admiration for Washington and all those early patriots is greater than ever.  Stay well, and keep taking such good care of your beloved fur people.  Tell them Winston says hello.

Thanks so much for the tip, @PamfromCT --  we recorded those, and can't wait to watch the second one..  You're right, it's riveting and I love Washington too-- a giant among men.

Ha, ha, @Judaline ,  wizard prang.  Cheery bye!

From the wisdom of Peanuts

Worrying won't stop the bad stuff from happening it just stops you from enjoying the good.
