That doesn't bother me. From where I am in the South, my friends and acquaintances frequently use that term...and I am in my 70s. I'm not sure what term I would use if I ever could get out of that habit. I do try to not use it when I am talking with groups of women that aren't from here or that aren't my close friends. Saying "y'all" every two words bothers me although I'm guessing I probably use that, too, just not to the extent that some on air do. I don't believe I ever use it just as a statement followed by nothing.

Doesn't bother me either, although I don't spend a lot of time watching.  I'd rather be called a girl than some of the other alternatives.  I do use Y'all a lot.  Apparently, some people are offended by it.  But, I thought it humorous recently when some University came up with a list of words that should no longer be used and the alternatives to use and You Guys was on the list.  The alternative was Y'all.  Another one was Chairman/Chairwoman.  The alternative was Chairperson.  I hate that word.  I got a certificate once for being the Chairperson of our local IEEE and I felt like it sounded like I was in charge of the chairs.

These terms of endearment people use that offend some don't bother me in the least. The very friendly lady who works at the local QuikTrip in my town calls me and everyone else who goes in there "sweetheart". Am fine with it.

I don't know anything about hair extensions, and since I'm here.......Are they heavy and weight down our own hair?

Just curious.......something I hadn't thought about until this very minute.

Not being critical to anybody........just seriously wondering.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

There’s so much anger & hurt in this world. To tear down a young woman just trying to make a living, who you don’t know & can’t defend herself is truly pathetic & nasty. She’s in media, with a very critical audience watching, apparently. Geez I wouldn’t mind looking in the mirror & having Courtney look back at me!

I had plastic surgery when I was younger & was thrilled with it. I don’t see any change in Courtney of late just her makeup. Last time I looked plastic surgery wasn’t illegal. My body, my choices. If you are distracted, shop online

Beauty is only skin deep but ugliness goes down to the core

@Greeneyedlady21    You really should quote what you're referring to as I have no idea and am not going to reread the entire thread to find out.

I did reread entire thread and never found a post or reference to third world.  Maybe @Greeneyedlady21 will clarify.
