Thank you so much for posting this link. I just looked at them and got lost in my memories of the Kennedy's.
You could see the love radiating from Jackie's eyes. So young and so in love. No matter what was said about him, he was still our young, handsome President, and he had so many more years to live and so many more important things to accomplish.

I always wonder what things would have been like if Jack, and Bobby hadn't been killed, if Ted had done the right thing, and if John Jr. had not been killed.

That family and their past and their 'ways' has long been uncovered.
Agreed, I have very little respect for them.....

Once thing I noticed about the pictures, there is no hand holding and while Jackie will look at Jack in a loving way, you never see him look that way at her. When a man's in love he at least will look at the woman he loves in that certain way.

He was a fabulous president. Had what it took to stand up to Kruschev and Castro. Advanced the USA in the space race. And was an advocate for equal rights for minorities and women. Many young people today really don't understand what it was like for women back in those days - no abilities to advance in their career - if they could even have a career at all.Women who worked after marriage were greatly frowned upon.About the only jobs available to women back then were teachers, nurses or secretaries or waitresses. Not to even mention the total lack of opportunities for minorities.

I met JFK in person once when I was a little girl and he was a Senator. He was so handsome! And he was just such a PRESCENCE. There has not been anyone since who had that prescence and his charisma, his intelligence.
