I have seen, on e-Bay bowls specifically for dogs with long hairy ears like Cocker spaniels and my Molly - a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are narrow at the top and open up at the bottom of the bowl so their ears, instead of going into the food, go on the outside of the bowl. I bought one and, dumb me, it was too big for Molly .... she probably could have sat in it! I gave it to my son who has a Vizsla.
Do any of you know where I might find these bowls in smaller sizes? Right now when I feed her I put a "snood" over her head which keeps her ears out of her food, but she really looks quite funny .... sort of like a little Amish puppy.
Thanks much,
abby
