planning for death

My parents still live in their own home and both are in poor health. They have been checking out different types of burials, have cemetary plots and now are buying a headstone. Strangely enough it seems normal. Maybe because I am going through cancer for second time and have had similar conversations with my own husband and kids. Although I do figure on a few more years and hair again.

Is this my new normal? Waiting to hear the latest from my mom?
