I just went to CNN's site and the plane shown was a Sichuan Airlines plane.

Perhaps the OP got this incident mixed up with the Southwest Airlines cabin pressure incident that was also in the news...?

Goldens - I'm sorry.  I think I was rather harsh there.   It was due to my own frustration more than your action.   Somehow a nerve got struck because I've commented before on stories here that turned out to not be true,  and it just hacked me off.

I should have kept my big mouth shut!

I asked that it be deleted, southwest plane was in back ground, i should had listen  better than i did ,hey we are not perfect,thank you.

ITA.

Every single site I visited this morning (before reading this post)

showed a Sichuan Airline airplane.  

CNN has related video stories which can be played while

the original story/headline remains constant.

I believe that’s where the OP got confused.  

Nothing to do w/ CNN website ‘getting it together.’

The original poster just got confused.

Very early in the post, the OP realized her error, but again, the superior "hall" monitors kept piling it on that it was "wrong."   Big deal.   At least one poster apologized.  We can all read the news for ourselves thank you.

I saw that. What is up with all these incidents lately for broken glass etc? People arent doing their job or soemthing. All this as I will now worry (my son gets married this week end) and will be flying off to their honeymoon next week! (I used to fly all the time and never worried about flying until lately).
