Wishing comfort for all of the survivors.

Prayers for all lost due to senseless gun violence.

Hoping that our lawmakers will finally do something to stop the violence!

Thinking of those who perished

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I did not know and have been so encouraged to read of the many gun laws past since Parkland.

I also did not know about the red flag law which some but not all states have, enabling a family or professional, teacher, officer (only some states allow families) to get a court order to take away a person's guns that they deem a harm to themselves or others.

I think so much of this was due to the students persistence.

They are heroes despite all they have been through, they haven't given up.

Also, the last student out of the hospital who they weren't sure if he would even live, nor walk again, did walk and cried with everyone watching. He hopes to someday play soccer again.

A girl who was not supposed to make it, shot 3 times and thought dead, went thru many surgeries and finally came out of the hospital. She was so amazed at how they saved her, she became an intern at the same hospital she was saved. She hopes to be able to help others in trauma situations as she was. She saw how much good the medical profession can do.

I am so sorry for all the students and esp the parents who lost their child that day.

Many families will be in sorrow today as a result of this tragic event.  Life takes unexpected turns every day....reminds me of to always be vigilant of how I treat those close to me and a reminder of my daily choices as I know my time of earth is precious.  Difficult to maintain that frame of mind 24/7, but I can use horrific events like this to make my actions are those that I would want to be remembered as our status can change in a moment.

It is possible, as long as we continue to elect officials who share the same goals.

I want  to thank all of the survivors who have been fighting for better laws, who have faced tragedy and moved forward to do something positive to try and prevent others from such tragedy.  These young people are heroes and what I believe are our hope for the future.  God bless them all and may their voices be heard by those who can make those changes.
