osteoporosis intravenous treatment ( need your input)

I am 68 years old and have osteoporosis due to medication. My doctor wants me to

start intravenous bisphosphonate therapy (Fosamax) once every 3 months. Has anyone

done this treatment and what is the adverse reaction is any. Thanks so much, I always

have confidence in the gals that respond to this forum.
