1929. the stock market crash and thus started the great depression.

 

oct is a mnth of many histoical happenings.  it is fun to look back on all of them

i am using the library's computer and this keyboard sticks or misses letters. i hate it.

 

but when i am on the cir desk, we can suf the web  which is a fun thing to do

OH wow, forgot about this. 

 

thanks for rememberence. Many people took their lives because of this event.

 

I do remember Sandy. Spent it at friends house because our house didn't know if it would survive. We live just west of NJ.  house made it thru. We hold our breath each hurricane that forms.

 

My grand daughter was born on 30 october #1 of 6 she is now a sophomore in college.
