    As most of the posters stated, the early days of QVC were more enjoyable  - great variety and many unusual items.  I loved the program that went around to the 50 states to show/sell products. Now there was an assortment of products! 

   I also think the hosts then were more skillful and better prepared for the job of "selling".  Some of the more tenured ones are still around and are still good at their job.  I don't like the program/show ambiance provided by some of the newer hosts. As many stated, I hardly watch the channel anymore  If I am going to purchase, I look for items online.
