My post count is not accurate at all. Neither is my sign-up date.
However, my nic is the original one I used when I first joined here in 2007 even though I have been Cakers1 and I believe Cakers2 at one point.
Sheesh-it's just a question asked by @KathyPet.
For those who have better things to do, best get to them.

@dooBdoo dooB, you've changed; I didn't recognize your face.

No. Lost a couple of thousand when they changed the board. Started over like a newbie. Don't post much after that.

Samething here. I've been posting since it seems like sometime in the early 2000s (back when the "scrubbing bubbles" gang were here)...or whenever the original boards were up. I know we had to re-register at least a couple times when they changed the boards. At one point, I remember having easily over 10,000 posts, but somewhere along the way, they were lost. No big deal. It's only a number, but no...the post counts are not accurate.

Does anyone really care about number of posts?

My thoughts exactly !

I agree the first part was just a question. Then she goes on to say she actually did the math on some posters sign up dates and number of posts to figure out how many posts they made a day. And then then basically stated "wow, every day for a year and they make five or six posts". What business is it of hers to see how many posts someone makes and then dis them for it.
I think the second half of her post was very rude.

Back when I was just plain insomniac, my number of posts lifted up/dashed down, regardless of how many times I actually answered a thread, or started one.
I was in the vicinity of 8,000 when one day I couldn't log in. I gave up, became insomiac 2, and went back to zero.
In the big picture, of course, it doesn't matter.
