It's very cold ,windy and snowy here in my neck of the woods. My 74 year old husband was out clearing snow from our property with the snow blower most of the day. Right now we are just having snow flurries and hopefully the snow will not drift over night. Our local news said we got 17 inches of snow.

Over a foot where I am, the winds were terrifying. Worse than hurricanes we've had. Lots of tough shoveling, at least it was good exercise.

I am just so grateful to have power and heat. Cable and internet was out for a while tonight but it came back.

Slush would be nice. We have ice. (Central NJ) At least it wasn't as much snow as predicted, and we didn't have to redo the bottom of the driveway every time the plow came through.
