i hope he was part of the deal. if not i fear he might have known too much about the Iranian nuclear program.  fingers crossed

I don't believe that there is proof he is still alive.

 

We have NO idea what is going on behind the scenes, just as we knew nothing about these releases.

I think Iran perceives he is a spy and that is most likely true. If we captured one of their spies here would we let him go?

i fear he is the man who knows too much -  and cannot see the light of day. and i am guessing the Iranians we swapped were not Boy Scouts.

Isn't that what usually happens when spies are caught? No matter what country they are spying for?

They know the dangers when they take on the assignment...they are very brave, IMO.
